'Come and Find Me' starring Aaron Paul Blu-ray movie review

On Jan. 17, Lionsgate Films released its newest action flick, Come and Find Me.

David and Claire are a couple deeply in love. They’re into each other and it shows until Claire abruptly disappears without a trace. Unable to let go, David obsesses over finding her. His investigation leads him everywhere, from gangsters to possibly corrupt government agents. He’s confused as he discovers her double life, but he’ll risk everything to get her back. Can he find her? Does she even want to be found?

Aaron Paul put forth some superb acting in this film. I just wish it had more of a storyline to support it. We never really find out who Claire was working for. We don’t know what activities her pictures would expose or who the people in them really were. We just follow Paul around as he searches and gets himself into and out of bad situations. Also, while I don’t mind an ambiguous ending, placing it on top of an equally ambiguous plot leaning heavily on confusing flashbacks leaves viewers feeling unsatisfied.

I wouldn’t call this movie terrible, but I’m not going to sing its praises either. It was fun while it lasted, but it had a lot of flaws. I’d probably give it 3.5 stars. If you don’t mind a thriller with less plot, more action, this might be a win for you.
