Nicki Minaj confirms breakup with Meek Mill, he says he 'needs love'

After a month of rumors and speculation, Nicki Minaj has finally come out of the dark and confirmed her breakup with Meek Mill.

E! News noted that Minaj took to Twitter Thursday and said, "To confirm, yes I am single. Focusing on my work & looking forward to sharing it with you guys really soon. Have a blessed New Year."

Ever since a peculiar Instagram post made by Minaj last month, rumors as to the future of their relationship spread. There was a time though where a lot of people believed they were engaged after Minaj was seen wearing an exceptional diamond ring in April 2015. However, the rapper debunked that rumor on The Ellen DeGeneres Show saying that Mill had given her two rings and promised if he were to give her a third, it would be her engagement ring.

It seems Mill may not be taking the breakup that well as he shared a video on social media of him singing the LL Cool J song "I Need Love" while drinking at a bar.
