Will he be yelling pop culture questions to ghosts on the street with Sarah Paulson? Probably not, but who knows.
Billy on the Street and Difficult People star Billy Eichner is set to join season seven of FX's popular series American Horror Story.
According to Deadline, his role will be "heavily recurring." He joins Paulson and Evan Peters as the only other announced cast members for the upcoming.
There is no word on what character Eichner will portray, however, the rumor is that his character will be very close with Paulson's character, as reported by Entertainment Weekly. It is also rumored that Eichner's character will wear a lot of tank tops and appear in six or seven of the season's 11 episodes.
Executive producer Ryan Murphy revealed on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that season seven will revolve around the 2016 presidential election, with the first episode beginning on election night. Nothing else has been confirmed about the new season at this time.

Eichner is obviously a very interesting choice for the role as he is known for his comedic roles and being a very boisterous game show host. But, Murphy loves to surprise fans with casting news. For example, singer Lady Gaga appeared in seasons five and six of the FX anthology series and another comedic actor, New Girl's Max Greenfield, appeared in season five.
Season seven begins filming in May and is set to air later this year.
