Kandi Burruss and Tameka 'Tiny' Harris, receive writing credit on Ed Sheeran's 'Shape of You'

Ed Sheeran will be sharing writing credits on his smash hit "Shape of You" with Kandi Burruss and Tameka "Tiny" Harris.

Burruss and Harris, who are songwriters and former members of the group Xscape, were added to the song's  list of writers alongside Sheeran, Snow Patrol member John McDaid and Steve Mac.

Burruss and Harris famously penned the Grammy award-winning song "No Scrubs" for TLC in 1999. According to BBC, listeners noticed similarities between "No Scrubs" and "Shape of You." Specifically, fans drew comparisons between the chorus of the former and the pre-chorus of the latter.

Although it is unclear exactly why the two women are receiving writing credit, they appear to be satisfied, for now. Tiny Harris even took to Instagram to celebrate being included as a writer on the song, which has been No. 1 on the Hot 100 charts for seven weeks.

Ayeeee! Ed Sheeran "Shape Of You" Blessed.. @kandi ????????
