'The Mindy Project' actor Adam Pally arrested for misdemeanor drug possession

Adam Pally was arrested for two misdemeanor drug possession charges in New York.

Pally, 35, who is not only known for his role in The Mindy Project but also known for his roles in Making History and Happy Endings, was arrested on Tuesday, March 28.

The New York Police Department confirmed his arrest to TMZ and the media outlet noted that Pally was seen smoking marijuana on Tuesday evening around 10:46 p.m.  He was also seen in the neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen with a small bag of cocaine.

The actor was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree and criminal possession of marijuana in the 5th degree. He must appear in front of a judge within the next 30 days.

But until then, he has been released from custody.

There's been no word from his reps on the matter.
