Beyoncé could be the voice of Nala in 'Lion King' live-action remake

We were not ready for this jelly...

Beyoncé is the frontrunner to voice the role of Nala in Disney's Lion King live-action remake.  Variety was the first to report the news.

Apparently the director of the remake, Jon Favreau, is dying to get Beyoncé in on the project.  Sources say that Beyoncé has not made a decision, especially since she is currently pregnant with twins.  However, because the role only requires the Queen Bey to head into the voice booth, it may be more suitable for her schedule.

If the "Crazy in Love" singer were to voice Nala, she would join two actors already confirmed for the project.  Donald Glover is going to voice Simba, while James Earl Jones will reprise his role as Simba's father Mufasa for the remake.

Needless to say, the internet went crazy when they heard that Beyoncé's could possibly be the voice of Nala.

Here's hoping that Beyoncé signs on to voice Nala!
