McDonald’s has been around for more than sixty years. And in that time they’ve switched up their look quite a bit. For a restaurant that is themed after a clown, this means that a variety of hideous and brightly colored uniforms have been worn by the employees at the Golden Arches. Until now.
Earlier this month, the fast-food chain announced that new uniforms would be created by designers Bindu Rivas and Waraire Boswell. Boswell has dressed celebrities from Ryan Gosling to Ellen DeGeneres. However, employees at McDonald’s are not thrilled with what he came up with for them.

HypeBeast reports that the new McDonald’s uniforms are “a modern, monochrome makeover” from the colorful mess that they were before.
McDonald’s said in a statement, “Individuality is important to McDonald’s restaurant employees and the new collections were designed to bridge the gap between fashion and function, allowing for an easy transition from the restaurant to social environment.”
However, employees have taken to Twitter to say what they really feel about their new uniforms.
