Remember when Russell Brand was married to Katy Perry? Well the actor has opened up about his previous relationship with the singer and was feeling quite sentimental of their short-lived marriage.
In a new interview with UK TV, the British star discussed their failed marriage. The interview aired on Monday, April 3 and showed the comedians more serious side.
Brand was married to Perry for less than two years and explained that their busy schedules came in the way of their relationship. According to Billboard, he shared that "the marriage didn't last for a very long time."
He continued, "I think that is to do with the undulating nature of fame."
Brand and Perry married in India in 2010 and they filed for divorce in July 2012. Although they're no longer together, the British actor wished nothing but the best for the pop star.
"I still feel very warm towards her," he said. "I feel like when I hear about her or see her, 'Aw there's that person. There that person in the world.'"
Brand recently welcomed his first child, Mabel, with his fiancé Laura Gallacher last November.
