Jeff Goldblum to return for ‘Jurassic World’ Sequel

Jeff Goldblum is returning to the world of dinosaurs.

The Hollywood Reporter was the first to report that Goldblum will be reprising his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in the next Jurassic World film. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will also be returning for the fifth installment to the Jurassic Park series.

Goldblum co-starred as the quick-witted mathematician in the series’ first two films, Jurassic Park (1993) and The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997). But, he was absent from the third and fourth installments in the dinosaur saga.

Colin Trevorrow, who directed the last installment in the series, Jurassic World, wrote the script for the sequel along with Derek Connolly. J.A. Bayona will be directing Jurassic World 2.

Before he can battle prehistoric beasts, Goldblum will appear in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok, set to hit theaters Nov. 3.
