Seth Rogan and comedy music group The Lonely Island are making a movie together and it is shockingly similar to the recent events that occurred at the disastrous Fyre Festival.
A supposed-to-be luxurious festival organized by Ja Rule and taking place in the Bahamas went horribly wrong last week. Those who had paid around $12,000 were disappointed when they discovered that bands that were performing had pulled out early, the accommodations were half-built tents and the “gourmet” food was cheese sandwiches.

After the events of the festival went viral, Seth Rogan posted on Twitter that he and The Lonely Island have been planning a movie that is comparable to the scandal. Rogan said in his tweet, “This seems like a good time to mention the movie we are making with @thelonelyisland about a music festival that goes HORRIBLY WRONG.”

The Lonely Island posted a few minutes later, “For real, thinking about suing #FyreFestival for stealing our idea.”

As of now, it is not clear if Rogan and The Lonely Island were being serious since no official details about the film have been released.
