New trailer for Marvel's 'Inhumans' teases war

Marvel's upcoming ABC show Inhumans, which is already getting mixed reviews, has released a new trailer entitled “War For Their World.” 

Inhumans revolves around a group of superheroes known as the Royal Family, and their quest to protect themselves and their home from a military coup.

The trailer is brief, but does offer some new footage — including a quick glimpse of Serinda Swan, who is playing the character of Medusa, with a shaved head. Seeing how Medusa’s super-power is possessing psychokinetic hair, this seems to reveal a major plot point.

There’s also a better look at Maximus — played by Iwan Rheon of Game of Thrones fame. “We will not let anyone stop us,” he says in the trailer. “Nothing can keep us from being free.”

The early buzz around Inhumans, however, has been overwhelming negative. Fans haven’t responded warmly to the CGI quality or overall look of the show:

The good news is we don’t have long to wait to see how Inhumans actually turns out, with the season starting on September 29 and the first episode being shown early on IMAX screens for one week, starting September 1.
