Stephen Colbert works out with Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Stephen Colbert worked out with Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, in a segment on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, after a joke of good health so she can stick with her appointment and help fight off President Donald Trump.

Colbert visited the Notorious R.B.G. for an interview, in Washington, D.C., at Watergate apartments, for the March 21 episode.

We learned that R.B.G is not looking to retire anytime soon as Colbert met with the elderly supreme justice to show she is in good health, and of course to keep up light-hearted morale.

"Please just hang in there for three to seven more years," Colbert candidly stated, and he also punned, “Which is surprising. If I had a lifetime appointment to a job that let me wear a robe, I would definitely let myself go...  Because it’s just a black muumuu. It would be nothing but fondue 24/7.”

Colbert as always punning (getting) to the point asked Ruth Bader Ginsberg whether a hot dog is a sandwich, to which her answer was, "On your definition it is." The point of which shows how the justice defines something that is within a gray area, balancing the two sides and finding that fine line between them.

Then they went to  “get shredded” while listening to Ginsburg’s awesome playlist of opera.

Colbert comically attempted to keep up with Ginsburg, but just couldn't compete, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Of course, this is just fanfare for a larger looming issue that is being touched upon and a serious one. And it is no joke the Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will have to keep her health as she stays on to ride the wave of turmoil in Trump's Presidency.

She has already made two of the court’s four signed opinions so far this term.

Ginsburg has also hired law clerks to stay with her until June 2020, the next election being four months after.

Although it is fame come at a late age, it is the fame appropriate for the age, as she has taken to the stage as a liberal icon. Time and time again she has proven she's highly valued in supporting the rights of others.

How long does she intend to stay on the bench? Whenever asked, Notorious R.B.G says she'll stick to it for however long she can keep,  “full steam,” and wants to replicate her model John Paul Stevens, the former justice who retired in 2010 at the age of 90.
