BTS announces 2018 Love Yourself tour

BTS

BTS is finally touring for their Love Yourself album series and will travel around the world to bring the ARMY what it wants, needs and desires.

The announcement of the Love Yourself tour was made Thursday morning April 26 by BTS' agency BigHit Entertainment on Twitter. This follows BTS' announcement of their next album, Love Yourself: Tear, which will be released on May 18, as we previously reported.

The BTS Love Yourself World Tour starts in Seoul in South Korea on August 25. More dates will be released.

The last time the group toured the world was in 2017, in their 40-date BTS Live Trilogy Episode III (Final Chapter): The Wings Tour. That tour started in February in Seoul and concluded in Seoul in December.

BTS visited twelve countries, among them, were the U.S., Brazil, Australia and Japan. It was BTS' biggest tour to date, according to Pop Crush.

So far, the general framework of the Love Yourself tour starts with two shows in Seoul on August 25 and 26. Next, they go to Los Angeles for three performances at the Staples Center in the first week of September.

The K-Pop band will be in North America from September to October and from there they will go to London, Amsterdam, and Berlin.

Here's the North American list of BTS tour dates:

Los Angeles (September 5-6, 8)
Oakland (September 12)
Fort Worth (September 15-16)
Hamilton, Ontario (September 20, 22-23)
Newark (September 28-29)
Chicago (October 2-3).

So far a total of 22 shows are currently announced, according to Billboard.

BTS is definitely gaining momentum in 2018 after having a hugely successful 2017 and with their appearance in the US at the end of the year, who knows what their career will look like thereafter. Certainly, whatever they do it will be a big hit.
