Fortnite goes offline, team says sorry with weekend rewards

Fortnite, Battle Royale, reward, game

Fortnite went through a series of problems beginning on Wednesday as the game bean to log players out of the game and place them in a queue.

As a response to the issue, Fortnite decided to bring the servers offline for an emergency maintenance.

Gamers were without the game for nearly a whole day—that’s an eon for hardcore gamers.

The game went back online on Thursday and gamers were once again able to hop on the Battle Bus to do damage.

But the Fortnite team still wanted to find a way to reward gamers for their patience in dealing with the issues involved with the game.

So, they will be releasing a Black Bling gift this weekend that Battle Royale players can get from the store for free and for Save the World players, they’re offering a Troll Stash Llama in the loot tab for free.

They’ll also be granting a pack of Battle Stars to Battle Royale players and Seasonal Gold to the Save the World players which will be a part of the planned downtime that will be brief.

What did you do to get through the Fortnite blackout? Do you think the gifts are enough compensation for the problems? Tell us below!

Additionally, Fortnite released a v3.5.1 update that fixed all of the bug issues, including weapon firing issues, replay system crashing and walking/sprinting problems while using a guided missile.

This version also includes the brand new Port-A-Fort, 50v50 [limited Time Mode], cyberpunk Heroes (Save the World) and Neon Weapons (Save the World).
