Is Gordon Ramsay really going vegan?

Gordon Ramsay says that he will make this new vegan lifestyle choice after slamming the lifestyle for years.

Chef Gordon Ramsay shared a social media post of his vegan pizza, with the caption “Going to give this vegan thing a try….”

Vegans and meat eaters alike have mixed feelings about this; vegans are happy that he is trying their lifestyle.

Meat eaters think that this is just for his new restaurant, as the photo was to promote his new Street Pizza restaurant.

Ramsay is known for his love of meat, fish and cheese, but now he says that he is going to try being vegan for one night only at least.

The star of Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and The F Word, spends his time between Los Angeles, and London, and has been critical of the vegan lifestyle for years. This is why his followers questioned when Ramsay said he would be eating plant-based food by choice.

His restaurants around the world feature meat, fish, eggs and cheese, so it is not to be believed that he is serious about converting to veganism.

The pizza in the photo that started it all has a tomato base, pesto, pine nuts and eggplant. However, this pizza does not have a vegan substitute for cheese.

Many vegans say that someone who was so against their lifestyle and now embracing it points to the fact that veganism is seemingly becoming more widely accepted.

On the other side of the argument, fans of his that eat meat say that he is being hypocritical.

As recently as February of this year, Ramsay tweeted that he was a member of PETA meaning People Eating Tasty Animals. Thus, he might not be as true to this vegan lifestyle as some might hope.
