Healthy eating and snacking starts with making good choices

Brooke Parkhurst is an expert on all things related to healthy cooking.  She is frequently on popular shows such as NBC Today Show; The Dr. Oz Show, CBS New York and Fox & Friends teaching people how to cook healthy and delicious meals with panache.

One of her mantras is healthy living starts at home. And with bathing suit season upon us, now is a good time to think about healthy eating.

Brooke helps people realize that it is possible to be very busy, but still make healthy choices for meals and snacks.  One of her best tips is to only stock your house with healthy ingredients.  Sounds sensible.

She wrote Belle in the Big Apple: A Novel with Recipes and along with husband James Briscione are co-authors of the fabulous cookbooks Just Married & Cooking and The Flavor Matrix:  The Art and Science of Pairing Common Ingredients to Create Extraordinary Dishes.

Her website, The Couples Kitchen is a great resource for cooking healthy meals for two.
