Dragon Ball Heroes has been on Dragon Ball fans’ radar since news of its release broke out In June.
The first episode of Dragon Ball Heroes aired on Saturday evening in Japan only, but fans quickly found the stream via various websites.

However, what they found when they reached this anime adapted arcade video game, was a lack of intensity in regards to Super Saiyan Blue Goku versus Xeno Goku and his Super Saiyan 4 form, the art was “meh” and the episode wasn’t even nine minutes long.

But there are still a lot of things that are interesting about the episode that should merit watching.
The episode opens up with Goku and vegeta training on Beerus’ planet and they are interrupted by future Mai who runs to tell the two saiyans that Trunks has been taken. The mysterious Fu, who is a scientist that is responsible for the mayhem, is also lurking in the shadows, telling the tail that he and Trunks are friends and that he’s merely trying to help Goku and Vegeta rescue Trunks from the Prison Planet.
The first Heroes episode was fine I guess.
I was expecting SS4 vs SSB to be a bit more crazy though. pic.twitter.com/7bGzi61Py2

As they arrive at the planet, they’re immediately met by Xeno Goku, who is Goku from an alternate timeline. He then transforms into Super Saiyan 4 in a brief clash with Super Saiyan Blue. Goku finds out that Xeno Goku is a part of the Time Patrol and that he is the Goku from another dimension.
Fu then reveals that Prison Planet is his “testing grounds” for strong warriors to battle forever, which sends shock waves to the others. They also find out that to escape they must gather seven special Dragon Balls and the remaining six are in the hands of the other warriors.
The episode ends with Trunks being challenged by Cooler and Fu watching from his lab with the Evil Saiyan peering in the background; possibly as the final obstacle for the others to hurdle.
This episode had some exciting points and it had some areas where it left you wanting for more—expecting more from Dragon Ball-made material.
Hello to everyone new who came here thanks to Dragon Ball Heroes.
I see lots of questions being thrown around like, two Goku's? Why was the episode only 9 minutes long?I have them all answered here:

The fact of the matter is that Heroes is an arcade video game that is centralized to Japan and so is the anime series.
The game itself is in Japanese and so is the show—it’s tailored towards the Japanese.
So, as of right now the series is being pre-screened in Aeon Lake Town, Japan with no new information on a possible western air date for now.
Next time on Dragon Ball Heroes
