Who is your daddy? Not this papa!
John Schnatter, founder of Papa John’s is suing his former business.
The former owner of Papa John's Pizza brought this lawsuit towards the company because of the poor way the company treated him. This was after a claim of Schnatter using racial slurs.
Papa John’s denounced these claims and feels the lawsuit is a waste of time, saying in a statement that Schnatter had filed "a needless and wasteful lawsuit in an attempt to distract from his own words and actions."
Schnatter did confess that he did, in fact, use the n-word during a telecommunication with other business associates. Schnatter stated that he was merely using that word to communicate that this is how KFC’s Colonel used to talk. Schnatter expressed that he is not a racist to the company.
Regardless, Papa John’s asked him to leave the position of CEO. Schnatter did but, he still remains of the board of directors owning 29 percent of the company. Schnatter feels that leaving was not the best option. In fact, he feels that Papa John’s didn’t do a proper investigation into the matter. This all stated in a letter Schnatter sent to the board where he claims Papa John's followed "its usual, and flawed, manner of dealing with false and mistaken reporting," according to Fox News.
Papa John’s is steadfastly removing Schnatter from all the commercials and social media. They even removed him from the premise of the business. Schnatter feels that Papa John’s let his pizza go cool and soggy.

If Schnatter gets his way is yet to be seen but, Papa John’s agrees to comply only with limited functioning. This because Schnatter is no longer the CEO. Papa John’s plans to move forward in a positive light for the business.
