Toei Animation to open museum

Dragon Ball Heroes, episode 1, underwhelmed, fans

Toei Animation, the anime studio that animated One Piece, Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon, among others, is opening up a museum in Tokyo at the end of the month.

Toei Animation Studio will feature original drawings of the anime series that will help visitors learn about how anime comes to life. Animation cells will also be available for viewing.

There will also be a “giant touchscreen monitor” display, which looks like an incredible way to have fun with some of Toei’s iconic characters:

For now, there is a special Pretty Cure (or, more commonly, Glitter Force) exhibit to celebrate the museum’s opening, which will include a panel event, photo spots and more. Check out the Tweet below.

Toei Animation Museum opens on July 28 in Tokyo, Japan.
