A little respect…5 underrated songs by Aretha Franklin

Everyone knows Aretha Franklin’s music.

In case you don't, Aretha Franklin was a soul singer, pianist and song writer.

Franklin was born in Memphis, Tennessee in the month of March, on the 25th day in 1942.

She started her career as a child singing gospel music in her father church, New Bethel Baptist Church, where he was a minister. At the age of 18 she was signed to Columbia Records. She had a taste of success. After her contract was over with Columbia Records, she signed with Atlantic Records in 1967.

After recording songs like "Think," "Respect," "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," and Spanish Harlem" she became iconic. She was deemed "The Queen Of Soul."

On August 16, 2018 she passed away. So, in her memory, these are, what I feel, the 5 most underrated songs by Aretha Franklin.

Give a little respect to these underrated songs...just a little bit.
