‘Big Brother 20’ recap: ‘Emotions lead into the Veto Meeting and the next Live Eviction’

Kaycee Clark, Scottie Salton, Big Brother

It’s time to find out who will be the third member of the Big Brother Jury.

#ButFirst we go back to Day 61 in the BB house. Faysal knows he has to nominate another HG for eviction. Scottie and Sam have both pitched Haleigh as the replacement nominee. Zero percent chance that is happening. She is crushed after hearing the news from Faysal. Haleigh goes to chat with Scottie after she has an emotional breakdown and is comforted by Level 6. Scottie and Haleigh share some tears and he apologizes for suggesting her as a nominee. It sounds like Scottie’s game might be crumbling right before us.

Scottie goes to do damage control with Faysal. He tells him that he wants Haleigh to be safe this week and that he might even have some feelings for her. This continues to make Faysal even more jealous. His last pitch is for Faysal to nominate Sam, so this would give Scottie a chance to survive this week.

The Veto Meeting is here and Brett is obviously going to use it on himself. Scottie’s speech is basically throwing Sam under the bus, saying she has been shady and flipping votes. Brett comes off the block and Kaycee is on the block for the second straight week. Faysal and many other of the HG 8 think that this vote is going to be unanimous to send Scottie home.

It’s shocking that The Hive has had the last two HOH’s and how they are losing numbers on their own side of the house. We have some interesting future alliance talks. Tyler and Angela chat with Faysal and Haleigh about a potential final four deal. That could be a powerhouse alliance. We also realize that Tyler had made deals with just about everyone in the house. He says his ideal final four would be himself, Angela, JC and Kaycee. His ideal final two would be him and Kaycee because he thinks he could beat her. He knows he shouldn’t win HOH this week.

It’s time for the next Live Eviction. I think the entire house is thinking this is going to be a unanimous vote. The house and everyone watching are not surprised that Scottie is the next HG evicted by a 6-0 vote. He says goodbye and leaves the house. We are down to the Final 8. Scottie goes to talk with Julie. He tells her that he thought he could pin the blame on Sam so she could be nominated next to him. He felt completely safe with Faysal as the HOH. Scottie was interesting. I won’t completely miss him.

It’s time to begin the next HOH competition. This competition is called “Sweet Shot.” Each HG has to search the candy pits and find tokens. They give Faysal the token and then try to roll the ball down a conveyer belt and get a perfect score of 40. You can also try and get the highest score possible. The HG with a perfect score first or the highest score will be the next HOH. We also get a twist for next Thursday. We find out that we will have the Jury Battleback. Bayleigh, Rockstar, Scottie and the next evicted HG will compete next week to have a chance to come back into the game.

Who will be the next Head of Household? Who will they nominate for eviction?
