'Insecure' set for Season 3 return

Insecure, set, Season 3, return

Insecure is one of the most alluring comedic-dramas on television, masterminded by the shows’ Golden Globe Award nominee and complexly genius, Issa Rae.

And the critically acclaimed Insecure is now gearing up for the highly anticipated third season which will premiere August 12 on HBO.

Season 3 will follow the same manuscript that the previous two seasons did with eight episodes in the season, diving deeper into each new character and the unique perspectives of common life through the lens of Issa.

Last season relayed the new complexities that Issa dealt with as she separated from Lawrence (Jay Ellis) while Molly (Yvonne Orji) was also faced with relationship obstacles of her own.

Season 2 was a huge success much like the first, earning a 100 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes for the second straight season and an average rating of 8.1/10, gaining universal acclaim from critics.

Season 3 episode 1 is titled “Better-Like” and is written by Issa Rae, slotted to debut at 10 p.m. on August 12.
